About the Priestess
My name is Amanda Burke.
Today, I’m an Oracle, a Priestess, and a Witch.
I wasn’t always all of those things. I started my journey as a little girl on the wide open plains; in love with the moon and stars and the vastness of the sky. I was enthralled by folklore and mythology and I was always certain that magic was as real as daylight. I made temples to nature spirits in little groves of trees and took pride in being their caretaker.
My “formal” studies (let’s face it, they’ve never been terribly formal) began with a Tarot deck at age 11 - a gift from my mother. From there, I devoured every book I could find about divination, magic, and Pagan practices. I practiced with friends in our own secret coven and began building my life in the most magical way I could.
I was lucky enough to dive into many, many magical systems and occult frameworks during my time working at a local metaphysical shop in my early 20s. That is where I first encountered Reiki and other forms of energy work. It is also where I took my first steps down the path of Shamanic practices and working with the Spirits and the Ancestors.
In my time as a dancer, I explored trance and movement-as-meditation and incorporated those into my ever evolving practice.
And now, having made my way through my first Saturn Return, I find myself in many ways returning to the beginning as a student of the stars.

My Mission
Foster Connections
As a life-long animist, I believe that strong connections to the various Spirits around us are key to living a fulfilled life. If we care for them, they can care for us.
True Empowerment
Sure, I have lots of experience, and certificates of such-and-such, but I believe that you are your highest spiritual authority and your own strongest ally. I am not a guru, simply a helper.
Celebrate Diversity
We are all different: and that is beautiful beyond all reasoning! I try to approach every session with that in mind and encourage my clients to explore and embrace their unique history.
Energetic Accountability
While we do not always control what happens to or around us, we do control our (re)actions. It is key to be mindful of how our energy ripples out into the world.

Usui Reiki Master since 2015 - I have actually taken in each attunement multiple times with different teachers, bringing a diverse viewpoint in this practice.

A practicing Witch and Pagan for 20 years
